Thank you for visiting our website and I hope you find the information you require here, although to get a true impression of the many strengths and outstanding features of St. Michael’s Catholic Grammar School – you will have to visit us at one of our open days!

St. Michael’s is a very special place, it is first and foremost a Catholic school; the ethos implanted here by the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus who founded this school and who remain as its trustees continues to this day.  The trustees, governors and staff remain committed to enabling our students become the person God intended them to be; supporting them to make sense of this complex world and to seek out their unique purpose in life.  St Michael’s is a place of spiritual formation – we recognise that Jesus has taught us that we should “love one another as he loved us” – and this gives a focus to the pastoral support we offer our young people. Yr 12 and Yr 7 Open Days

Open Evening for future Yr 12 (Entry 2018-19) was on Thursday 9th November 2017 at 7pm.

Please complete Application Form and return by 20th December either to or by post.

Open Evening for future Yr 7 (Entry 2019-2020) will be on 28th June 2018

Registration for Yr 7 Admission 2018-19 is now closed.  Late Registration Forms will not be accepted.

Exam Results 2017 - A-Level: 83.7% A*/B grades (19.2% A* grades)

Congratulations to all of our Yr 13 students on their A level results. 7 students will take up their places at Oxford and Cambridge and most students got accepted to the university of their choice.

GCSE results: A*/A/9/8/7 - 82.4%. Congratulations also go to our Yr 11 students.
Student Success

Congratulations to every student who has represented the School in the last academic year as we have just been awarded Barnet's secondary School of the Year 2016 for participation in Games. This is the 6th successive year we have won this accolade.

Pupils in the news include ex-pupil Madeleine Badcott, president of the Oxford women's boat club and winning team member in the Boat Race for 2015 and 2016. Also, Lois Joel who is a member of the Under 17 Football England Team for the World Cup qualifying campaign. Tulsi Bevil in Year 8 has represented the UK in an international gymnastics competition in Bulgaria and won several medals including gold.
