Debate Competition Success

What an amazing night at the South Hampstead High School Spring Debate Competition! 
With over 250 students participating from 25 schools, we had high hopes of all our students in such a competitive and exciting arena. Our five teams included those who had never debated before, alongside experienced debaters - ranging from Year 7 to Y12. We also brought several keen observers from Y7 and had 4 Y12 students take part as assistant judges; an invaluable experience for them. 
One of our Senior Debate Teams had the distinction of being judged joint winners of the Senior Competition, winning all three of their debates. This is a first for us at this competition. Amazing congratulations to the team consisting of  Lucia (Y11), Alana (Y11) and Nuala (Y10)

Especial thanks once again to our amazing Y13 Debate Leaders , Leona Elizabeth and Lauren 
for preparing the girls so well.
