St-Michael's special Guest Cherie Blair CBE, KC

St Michael's was delighted to welcome Cherie Blair CBE, KC to our Awards Evening on Tuesday 19th December.
She spoke with governors and staff and took a keen interest in speaking to the students who have returned to collect A level certificates and prizes having completed their first term at various top Universities.
Mrs Blair gave a speech highlighting her own journey from a single parent family in Liverpool to being a top KC barrister and advocate for Women's rights and equality.
The students were absolutely enthralled by her story and the passion with which she works to improve our World by making a more equal society.
The school would like to thank Mrs Blair for being part of our celebration and leaving a lasting mark on all of our community.
