Y12 Chemistry Students Attend “Chemistry in Action”

On 10th March 2026, nearly 60 Year 12 Chemistry students attended the Chemistry in Action event, where they explored a range of exciting topics, including nuclear waste, metals in medicine, sustainability, and forensic chemistry.

Students particularly enjoyed the engaging talks such as Nuclear waste and Poisons, as well as Scent- Sational Chemistry. Many found the event inspiring and appreciated seeing how chemistry is applied in real-world contexts.

It was a valuable and enjoyable experience that supported their learning and sparked further interest in the subject.
