Year 10 Oxbridge workshope

10 Y10 students went to an Oxbridge workshop which took take place on Tuesday 17th March at Bishop Douglass Catholic School.

 


The aims were to encourage young people in year 10 to consider what they need to do now to support them making applications to competitive universities, and in particular Oxford and Cambridge, in the future.

 

Students learnt:

Learn about selective universities and what they are looking for
Consider the importance of choosing the right A level combinations
Address some of the myths around selective universities

Love one another, as I have loved you
