Yr12 Art trip to the Serpentine Galleries and Pavilion.
On Tues 2nd July the  Yr12 artists visited the Serpentine Galleries to see Yinka Shonibare's installations and sculptures linked to ideas about globalisation and empire, Judy Chicago's drawings and embroideries proclaiming strong feminist thinking. Plus the star shaped pavilion by Korean architect Minsuk Cho, Mass Studios. All very thought provoking and potentially inspiring as the students begin to get ideas going for their next piece of art.
Thank you to Ms Viney for joining us. It was a pleasure to accompany them.
