Year 13 learn about meningitis awareness

As part of their final year group assembly on 'Keeping Healthy and Happy at University', Year 13 students heard from Mr Ward about the importance of spotting the symptoms of meningitis and ensuring that symptoms and the condition are taken seriously when presenting at hospital or the GPs. Students were also encouraged to check their vaccine records before leaving for university and to enquire about the availability of the vaccine for Meningitis B.
